Custom Fleet Mobilcards and Caltex StarCards provide for convenient fuel purchasing by providing you with access to over 800 service stations throughout New Zealand. 

The most commonly asked questions regarding the use of your Mobil and Caltex StarCard are answered for you below:

 

What can I purchase with my Fuel Card?

 

There are 3 types of Fuel Cards:

  • Fuel & Oil - All fuels including petrol, diesel, CNG, LPG and lubricant products.

  • Fuel, Oil & Wash - All fuels, lubricant products and standard car washes.

  • All Products - All products sold through Mobilcard and Caltex StarCard merchants to a pre-established dollar limit.

 

How long will it take to get my Fuel Card?

Generally your Fuel Card will arrive within 3 - 5 working days of delivery of your vehicle.

 

Where is my Fuel Card accepted?

Our Mobilcards and Caltex StarCards are accepted at over 800 fuel outlets. You can use your Mobilcard at any Mobil service station in New Zealand and your Caltex StarCard at any Caltex service station.

Do I need a pin number for my Fuel Card?

We recommend a PIN number for your Fuel Card for added security.  In some instances, you will need to provide a PIN for your Mobilcard or Caltex Starcard.  Your Fleet Administrator will advise if this is the case.


What information do I need to provide when I re-fuel?
You will need to provide your kilometre reading to the Service Station attendant.

 

What do I do if my Fuel Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

Call 0800 11 63 63 and also notify your company’s Fleet Administrator.

 

Can I use fuel discount vouchers with my Fuel Card?

No, you are unable to use supermarket fuel discount vouchers with your Fuel Card.
