Custom Fleet renews Rainbow Tick accreditation second year in a row
Custom Fleet has successfully renewed its Rainbow Tick accreditation in New Zealand, recognising our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where LGBTQIA+ employees feel safe, supported and included.
Rainbow Tick is a nationally recognised accreditation that acknowledges organisations actively working to foster inclusive environments for people from Rainbow communities.

Receiving accreditation for a second consecutive year reflects the progress we've made in strengthening inclusive practices and embedding them into everyday workplace experiences.

Continuing to strengthen inclusion
Over the past year, we've continued to build on the foundations established through our initial accreditation.
Policies that support our people
We reviewed and updated our Gender Inclusion and Affirmation Policy in partnership with Rainbow Tick to ensure it reflects inclusive language and provides clear guidance and support for employees.
Building awareness through education
During 2024, employees participated in Active Allyship and Gender Diverse Awareness workshops designed to increase understanding and provide practical ways to support colleagues.
These sessions encouraged meaningful conversations and helped strengthen awareness across the organisation.
Recognising Pride Month
Across New Zealand and Australia, Pride Month activities brought employees together through panel discussions, community events, volunteering opportunities and Drag Trivia.
These events created opportunities for learning, connection and celebration across our teams.
The impact on our workplace culture
While accreditation is important, the experiences of our people remain the most meaningful measure of success.
According to the Rainbow Tick Employee Perspectives Survey, 97% of respondents agreed that Custom Fleet provides an inclusive environment for Rainbow employees.
Importantly, no rainbow-identified respondents reported experiencing discrimination.
These results reflect the commitment of our people and the inclusive culture we continue to build together.
Looking ahead
Creating an inclusive workplace requires ongoing commitment.
We'll continue to raise awareness of our policies, expand education opportunities and create an environment where all employees feel valued, respected and supported.
